| Lake of the Ozarks, in central Missouri, is one of the largest man-made lakes in the United States. It is located in the Ozark Mountains and is about 98 miles long, with numerous arms totaling over 1600 miles of shoreline. Boating and water activities abound on this lake and there is a need for the Coast Guard Auxiliary to promote boating safety. Our mission is to educate the boating public with our Boating Safety Classes and our Free No Penalty Vessel Safety Checks. | ||||
